The research was conducted by GoCompare.com, which used information from Facebook Audience Insights to estimate the popularity of supercar brands globally. Two types of statistics are provided by Facebook Audience Insights: total fan count and fan concentration. Raw fan numbers represent the total number of fans from each nation who engage with each supercar brand page, whereas fan concentration is the proportion of fans from each nation who interact with a given supercar brand page.
Due to the fact that larger nations will inevitably have more Facebook users, fan concentration was used to determine how much each nation likes each business. We contacted the study’s authors in an effort to obtain specific numbers and information to support each automaker’s ranking, but regrettably they were unable to do so.
