Tata Motors just announced the pricing of the Nexon, its most successful product in recent history. Simultaneously, the Indian carmaker is preparing for numerous other releases over the next six months. This includes the country’s Harrier facelift, Safari facelift, Punch EV, and Curvv SUV.
The company recently registered a new trademark for the name ‘Azura,’ which might be the production name of the future Tata Curvv. The spy photos of the Curvv SUV test mule leaked online a few months ago. And now we’ve got our hands on spy photos of the crossover SUV’s production-ready master body.
Tata Curvv Design Details
The silhouette resembles the Curvv Concept shown at the Auto Expo 2023, as seen in the image. An upright bonnet, wide wheel arches, flushed door handles, pillar-mounted ORVMs, thick body cladding, and a sloping roof line complement the coupe-like appearance of the next Tata SUV.
The Tata Curvv is slated to gain a new twin-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, an all-digital instrument cluster, a huge touchscreen infotainment system, touch-based HVAC controls, a new gear lever, and redesigned interiors with quality upholstery. Aside from that, the Coupe SUV might get technologies like a 360-degree surround camera, a blind spot monitoring system, and an ADAS suite.
Tata Curvv Launch Date
The Curvv is expected to be released in EV form in early 2024, followed by an ICE variant in the coming months. The powertrain, battery pack, and specifications are yet to be revealed. However, we anticipate that the EV version will use the battery pack and motor from the recently introduced Nexon EV makeover. Meanwhile, the Curvv ICE is expected to feature the new 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine that debuted at the Auto Expo earlier this year.
