The Upcoming Tata Harrier Facelift is getting closer to being released by Tata Motors. The updated Harrier, which is anticipated to debut at the 2023 Auto Expo, was once more spotted during testing on public roads. Tata Harrier’s fully camouflaged test mule, which appears to be nearly production-ready, was spotted on test in the open.
The facelifted Tata Harrier is seen being tested in a Motorbeam YouTube video while completely camouflaged. Although there aren’t many finer details visible in this video, it appears that the new Harrier will largely maintain the current design. The changes, however, will be very minor and limited to the highlights, such as a modified front grille, new LED inserts for the tail lamps, and a potential conversion from HID to LED headlamps. A panoramic sunroof and the current 18-inch alloy wheels were also seen on the test mule.

Upcoming Tata Harrier Facelift Interior
The video doesn’t show any interior details. Tata Motors is anticipated to take advantage of this chance to upgrade the 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is currently in use. The installation of a larger touchscreen infotainment system by Tata Motors is rumoured to include modern graphics and wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Revisions to the instrument panel and a few new features, the specifics of which are currently under wraps, are additional potential cabin modifications.
Upcoming Tata Harrier Facelift Features
The Tata Harrier’s updated version is anticipated to include a full complement of advanced driving assistance systems as its biggest feature upgrade (ADAS). A number of contemporary SUVs, including the MG Astor, Mahindra XUV700, and Hyundai Tucson, have already begun to include ADAS in their highest-end trim levels. Tata Motors is anticipated to follow suit in order to compete with other SUVs that will offer ADAS once they are released, including the facelifted Hyundai Creta, MG Hector, and Kia Seltos.
Upcoming Tata Harrier Facelift Engine
The 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel engine that is currently in the updated Tata Harrier already complies with the soon-to-be-implemented RDE emission norms, so there won’t be any changes to the powertrain option. This engine, which is offered with both 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions, generates a maximum of 170 PS and a maximum of 350 Nm of torque. The Mahindra XUV700, a direct rival of the Tata Harrier, outperforms it by a wide margin in terms of performance numbers, so it is expected that this engine will receive power and torque upgrades in the facelifted model.
