Many devoted followers of the company that produced some of the most intimidating-looking SUVs in the world were devastated when General Motors decided to discontinue the Hummer brand in 2008. Even though the GMC brand has revived the Hummer with brand-new electric models, people still have fond memories of the original, petrol-powered Hummers. Many people even in India brought Hummers over to their country. Here is an example of a Hummer H3 that is currently available on the used car market and can be yours for less money than a brand-new Toyota Fortuner.
You did read that correctly. A used 2009 Hummer H3 with a Meghalaya-registered number is listed for sale in the used car market for Rs 50 lakh, according to a post made to the “exotic.cars.in” Facebook page. With this asking price, it is now more affordable than the highest-specified Toyota Fortuner models, such as the Legender and GR-Sport, which start at Rs 50 lakh.

Used Hummer H3 On Sale In India
This SUV looks almost stock from the outside, with its original silver colour appearing to be largely unaltered. It has chrome-plated side steps, black front and rear bumpers, a front bull bar, horizontal roof rails, and rearview mirrors. This Hummer H3’s interior also has dual-tone black and beige upholstery, as well as silver finishes on the instrument console surrounds and centre console.
Hummer Specs
A 3.7-liter naturally aspirated V6 petrol engine and a 5-speed automatic transmission power this Hummer H3. Hummer stated that it could produce up to 240 PS and 326 Nm of peak torque. Although the V6 engine’s performance justified the Hummer H3’s enormous size and weight, it was infamous for its low fuel efficiency. The potential purchasers of this SUV on the used car market should be aware that under ideal city driving conditions, it achieves fuel efficiency of 3-5 km/l.
