2022 Mahindra XUV300 Facelift Unveiled

The updated 2022 Mahindra XUV300 Facelift compact SUV from Mahindra has been officially teased for the domestic market and is scheduled to go on sale soon. The facelifted XUV300 was just yesterday spotted testing on public roads without the front fascia, and now the teaser has essentially unveiled all the new design elements.

With the release of the Scorpio N and Scorpio Classic, the domestic SUV manufacturer has recently been on a roll. On September 6, 2022, the XUV400 electric SUV, based on the XUV300, will make its debut. The five-seater Mahindra XUV300 will be one of many competitors to the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Toyota Urban Cruiser, etc. in the 2022 model year.

The all-new Brezza is also available, and the Hyundai Venue recently received a significant update. In the near future, the Urban Cruiser will also get a new generation. Although the front fascia has been updated with the new Twin Peaks corporate logo, the visual changes are relatively minor. The lower air intake area, skid plate, sharp headlamps with integrated LED DRLs that flow into the sleek fog lamp housings, and front grille with chrome accents all remain.

The current price range for the XUV300, which is built on the X100 platform from SsangYong Tivoli, is between Rs. 8.41 lakh and Rs (ex-showroom). Expect a slight price increase for the updated model, and new colour options might also be offered. Additionally, the image reveals the presence of 17-inch alloy wheels with diamond cuts, black body cladding, two-tone mirrors, LED tail lamps, and other features.

The interior of the 2022 Mahindra XUV300 might also see some minor changes, and new features might be added to the list of features. Performance-wise, the 1.5-liter turbocharged diesel engine produces 115 PS and 300 Nm, while the existing 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine produces 108 PS and 200 Nm.

Either a six-speed manual transmission or an AT torque converter with six speeds connects them. A recent test mule with the T-GDI badge may have a new turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 130 PS and 230 Nm in some variants.
