BMW has launched the 2023 BMW 7 Series in India at a starting price of Rs. 1.70 crores (ex-showroom, across India), and features an interior that has been updated with the addition of new features. The exterior features split LED headlamps, a lighting system that is illuminated, a prominent front kidney grille, newly designed 19-inch wheels, flush-type door handles, new LED tail lamps, revised bumpers, etc.

A 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with iDrive 8 tec and a 12.3-inch digital instrument console takes center stage in the interior, which also features the curved screen display found in the iX and i4. Touch-sensitive controls, an iDrive controller, a 31.3-inch 8K screen mounted on the roof with multiple aspect ratios for Amazon Fire TV, 5.5-inch touchscreens on the back door pads, ambient lighting functionality, a panoramic sunroof, and other features are additional highlights.

The German luxury automaker only offers a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder petrol engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission and a maximum power output of 380 hp in India. The revised CLAR architecture supports the 2023 BMW 7 Series, which is offered with an extended wheelbase for more comfort and interior space.
Active steering, an electronically controlled damping system, and adaptive air suspension are additional highlights. It will go up against the updated Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Lexus LS 500h, and Audi A8 L. Additionally, BMW has introduced the fully-loaded i7 electric sedan, which is imported into India via CBU for a cost of Rs. 1.95 lakh (ex-showroom).
