The Honda CB300R is priced at Rs 2.77 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be sold exclusively at Honda BigWing and BigWing Topline dealerships across India. While the BS4 iteration retailed at Rs 2.41 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), despite localisation the BS6 version comes at a hefty premium.
2023 Honda CB300R BS6 Features:
The Honda CB300R comes with an all-LED lighting system and a full-LCD multifunction instrument cluster, the same as the BS4 version but now gets a gear position indicator. We wish Honda had equipped the bike with TFT instrumentation and smartphone connectivity. Moreover, the bike gets a gold-finished front fork, darker shades for the fuel tank extensions, and a slightly redesigned exhaust muffler.

The CB300R BS6 is powered by a 286cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC motor, which is slightly more powerful than the BS4 version despite adhering to strict emission norms. The updated naked makes 31.1PS at 9000rpm and 27.5Nm at 7500rpm. In comparison, the BS4 bike produced 30.4PS at 8000rpm and 27.4Nm at 6500rpm. Honda has also equipped the motorcycle with a slipper clutch for its 6-speed gearbox.

In terms of underpinnings, the BS6 CB300R has remained unchanged. It continues with the same diamond-type frame with an upside-down Showa front fork and a rear monoshock with a seven-step preload adjustment. A 296mm petal disc at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear (paired with IMU-assisted dual-channel ABS) anchor the bike. It rolls on 17-inch alloys wrapped in 110-section front and 150-section rear tubeless tyres. The motorcycle tips the scales at 146kg kerb, 1kg lighter than its predecessor. The ground clearance and seat height are 157mm and 801mm, respectively.
