Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced the debut of the Hyundai i20 facelift in the local market, with prices starting at Rs. 6.99 lakh for the base Era variant and rising to Rs. 11.01 lakh for the top-of-the-line model (both prices are ex-showroom). It receives numerous modifications both inside and out, and the feature list has been updated as well.
2023 Hyundai i20 Facelift Features
With the 2023 i20, the country’s second-largest automobile manufacturer offers more than 40 safety measures, 26 of which are standard. The premium hatchback comes standard with six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Assist Control (HAC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), three-point seatbelts, and seatbelt reminders for all seats, setting new safety tech norms.
According to the South Korean automaker, the revised i20 sports more than 23 additional comfort and convenience features. It features a modified parametric grille section with new LED headlamps and more noticeable LED Daytime Running Lights, reworked front and back bumpers, all-new 16-inch alloy wheels, and an updated rear.
Hyundai i20 Facelift Interior Features
The inside features a new two-tone grey and black motif, semi-leatherette seat design, and leatherette application to the door armrests, all of which add to the premium appeal. A redesigned D-cut steering wheel, 7-speaker Bose audio, and a Type-C USB charger are among the other inside improvements. Six single-tone and two dual-tone paint schemes are available for the 2023 Hyundai i20.

The new Amazon Grey exterior color joins Atlas White, Titan Gray, Typhoon Silver, Starry Night, Fiery Red, Atlas White + Black Roof, and Fiery Red + Black Roof in the palette. Ambient sound experience with seven nature-inspired soundscapes, burglar alarm, ESS (Emergency Stop Signal), reverse parking camera, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Highline, headlamp escort function and automatic headlamps, 60+ connected car features, 127 embedded VR commands, 52 Hinglish voice commands, OTR (Over-the-Air) updates, and Multilanguage UI support accommodating 10 Regional and 2 International languages are also highlights.
2023 Hyundai i20 Facelift Engine
The classic 1.2L Kappa petrol engine, now with idle start/stop technology for better convenience and improved fuel economy, powers the 2023 Hyundai i20 with no mechanical changes. To give buyers peace of mind, the premium hatch is sold with a three-year or one lakh mile standard guarantee that may be extended.
