Kawasaki, a Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer, has introduced the middleweight sport-naked 2023 Z900 motorcycle in India. In addition, the new 2023 Kawasaki Z900 costs Rs. 8.93 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Two new colour combinations are now available for the 2023 Kawasaki Z900 middleweight sport-naked motorcycle: Metallic Phantom Silver/Metallic Carbon Grey and Ebony/Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Grey. The 2023 Kawasaki Z900 also includes a few graphics to give the motorcycle a slightly more interesting appearance.
Overall, despite having new colour options, the 2023 Kawasaki Z900 middleweight sport-naked motorcycle is largely unchanged from the model it replaces. The 2023 Kawasaki Z900 middleweight sport-naked motorcycle, however, commands a price premium of Rs 51,000 over the outgoing model despite the minimal changes.

Although winglets are popular among two-wheelers and are a newer model, Kawasaki has not added any aerodynamic features to the 2023 Kawasaki Z900, nor does it have a “Ram Intake” system like the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R motorcycle.
2023 Kawasaki Z900 Specs & Features
The 2023 Kawasaki Z900 middleweight sport-naked motorcycle will continue to include a 4.3-inch TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity as standard equipment. Dual-Channel ABS, Kawasaki traction control (KTRC), multiple ride modes, all-LED lighting, and a few others are additional features.
Additionally, the “RIDEOLOGY THE APP” allows users to access the various instrument cluster features from their smartphones, and the Kawasaki Z900’s 2023 model will come with new Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tyres for improved on-road performance.
When it comes to the mechanical components, the 2023 Kawasaki Z900 middleweight sport-naked motorcycle features a horizontal back-link mono-shock with rebound damping and spring preload adjustment at the rear and a 41mm inverted fork at the front with rebound damping and spring preload adjustment.
The dual semi-floating 300mm petal disc brakes up front and the 250mm petal disc brake down back are responsible for stopping the 2023 Kawasaki Z900 middleweight sport-naked motorcycles.
2023 Kawasaki Z900 Engine & Powertrain
In terms of the propulsion system, Kawasaki still employs 948cc, 4-cylinder, in-line four engines. The engine now generates 98.6Nm of torque at 7,700 rpm and a maximum power of 123.64bhp at 9,500 rpm. Additionally, a 6-speed gearbox is used to transmit this power and torque to the rear wheels.
The Kawasaki Z900’s seat height in 2023 is 820mm, and it has a 145mm ground clearance. The 2023 Kawasaki Z900 weighs 212kg, which is a bit more than average. In addition, the 2023 Kawasaki Z900 has 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends, with a wider 180/55-section tyre at the rear and a 120/70-section tyre up front.
