Harley-Davidson Announces 8 New Bikes For 2022 Lineup

Harley-Davidson has unveiled seven new motorcycles for 2022, including a trike, all of which are powered by the Milwaukee Eight 117 engine, which has a displacement of 1,920 cc and a peak torque of 170 Nm. Two new baggers, two new Low Riders, and four upgraded Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) models, including a tricycle, are among the new models. The Street Glide ST, Road Glide ST, Low Rider S, Low Rider ST, and three CVO motorcycles and one CVO trike are among the new models for 2002. All of the motorcycles are evolutions of current models with major upgrades, as their names imply.

Official Announcement

Harley-Davidson Chairman, President, and CEO Jochen Zeitz remarked, “As part of our focus on stronghold segments, including Grand American Touring and Cruiser, the 2022 product line is designed for power and performance.” He added, “Each of these new models feature the unrivaled power of the Milwaukee-Eight 117 for those riders who want nothing but the biggest and the best, building on our position as the most desirable motorcycle brand in the world.”

Two New Low Riders

The Low Rider S and Low Rider ST feature similar look to older Harleys, but the Low Rider S has a more powerful and larger engine. A 43 mm upside down fork and a larger rear monoshock, as well as additional rear wheel travel, perform suspension responsibilities on both Low Rider variants. The Low Rider ST, with its neo-retro fairing and hard-case panniers, appears to be the most distinctively modern model. The Milwaukee Eight 117 engine is also used in the Low Rider S, however it has a more stripped-down design.

Two New Baggers

The Street Glide ST and Road Glide ST both share the same engine, however the Street Glide ST has Reflex connected Brembo brakes with ABS, and the Road Glide ST doesn’t. Daymaker LED headlamps, cruise control, and the Box GTS infotainment system with color touchscreen and navigation. Cornering traction control with riding modes, cornering ABS with linked braking, hill-hold control, and tyre pressure monitoring are all available as options from Harley-Davidson.
