The 2023 Tata Nexon EV makeover will be available on September 14th. While Tata has given its SUVs minor upgrades on a regular basis throughout the years, this would be the first big overhaul since 2020. The Nexon EV facelift will receive the same design and feature updates and will hit the market on the same day.
According to the spy pictures, the Nexon will have an entirely new look. With a full-length LED DRL, sleek grille, split headlamp design, and sharper bumpers, the front appearance will be inspired by the Tata Curvv and Harrier EV.
The alloy wheels for the new subcompact SUV will also be changed. Back there will be linked LED tail lights, a revised bumper, and a more prominent boot. Similar updates are likely for the Nexon EV, which has its own set of aesthetic features.
2023 Tata Nexon EV Interior
The Nexon and its EV versions’ cabins will be significantly redesigned for a more modern appearance. The Nexon has been spotted with a new two-spoke steering wheel, a touch-based temperature control panel, and new seat upholstery. These improvements should be passed over to the Nexon EV as well.
2023 Tata Nexon EV Facelift Features
The Nexon should get a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital driver’s display, up to six airbags, a 360-degree camera, and front and rear parking sensors when it gets a makeover. Nexon EV and ICE versions may also have ADAS (advanced driver assistance system), making Nexon the first sub-4-meter SUV to receive this safety feature.
Nexon EV Facelift Powertrain
The Nexon will continue to be available with petrol, diesel, and, of course, electric engine choices. It is expected to keep the 1.5-litre diesel engine (6-speed manual and AMT choices), while the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine will most likely be replaced with Tata’s new 1.2 TGDI turbo-petrol engine. The new petrol engine is rated at 125PS and 225Nm, and it is expected to be paired with a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission in addition to the manual stick.
There is no word on whether the Nexon EV’s powertrain will be updated. It presently comes with 30.2kWh (Prime) and 40.5kWh (Max) battery packs, with a stated range of up to 312 kilometers and 453 miles, respectively.
2023 Tata Nexon Ev Price
The Nexon and Nexon EV facelifts’ prices will rise owing to major enhancements, but mostly in their top models. The ICE model now costs between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 14.60 lakh, while the EV model costs between Rs 14.49 lakh and Rs 19.54 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
