The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla made its debut in March of this year, marking the Japanese brand’s return to the hot hatch segment in the United States after a long absence. The rally car-inspired hatchback is now on the market, and we have official pricing for the model’s first year on the market.
The base 2023 GR Corolla costs $35,900 plus a $1,095 destination fee. The Core trim is the entry-level trim, with over 5,000 units expected to be assembled for the American market during the first year of production. This vehicle comes standard with sports seats and is available in three exterior colours. Customers can opt for the Cold Weather package, which includes heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. There’s also an optional Technology package that includes a navigation system, an upgraded stereo, and wireless smartphone charging.

The GR Corolla Circuit is priced $42,900 higher than the base model. This is essentially a one-year-only launch version of the hot hatch, available only for the 2023 model year. It comes standard with front and rear limited-slip differentials, a carbon-fiber roof, synthetic leather upholstery, a premium audio system, and other features that are optional on the GR Corolla Core. This more expensive and well-equipped model will be manufactured in a limited run of approximately 1,500 units.
The Morizo Edition is the top-of-the-line GR Corolla for the 2023 model year, starting at $49,900 without a destination charge. It has more torque than the other two models and a weight reduction package that removes the rear seats, rear speakers, rear window regulators, rear wiper blade, and rear wiper motor. However, there is no information on the production run of the GR Corolla Morizo Edition.
