The 2024 Force Gurkha line has been released in India, priced at Rs 16.75 lakh (ex-showroom) for the three-door variant and Rs. 18 lakh for the five-door vehicle. Bookings for the automobile are open as of today, with a starting price of Rs. 25000. We have driven the new five-door Gurkha, and you can see our initial impressions here.
2024 Force Gurkha Specs
The 2024 Force Gurkha is the most extensive modification to the SUV since its introduction in 2021. Its exterior has redesigned alloy wheels, headlights, and a grille. The three-door Gurkha is 3.95 metres long, while the five-door variant is 4.3 metres long, placing it in the same category as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Honda Elevate. Inside, Force has updated the upholstery and installed a full-digital instrument cluster. Other features include TPMS, twin front airbags, and an 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen.
Force Gurkha Powertrain
The Gurkha is powered by a 2.6-litre diesel engine producing 132bhp/320Nm and coupled to a six-speed manual. One of the Gurkha’s unique features is its four-wheel drive kit, which includes locking differentials and shift-on-the-fly 4WD. It is standard on both the three- and five-door versions.
The 2024 Force Gurkha will rival the Maruti Jimny and the lower-spec version of the Mahindra Thar of which the latter will get a five-door model in August of this year.
