As per the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), India recorded a 43 per cent growth in FY21-22 for passenger car exports. With demand for affordable mobility increasing across the world, the Indian automobile industry is expected to see further growth in exports in the future. Interestingly, there are a few cars in India that are manufactured solely for exports! Below, we have listed our pick of the top five export-only cars manufactured in India, which cannot be purchased here.

1. Suzuki Jimny

Maruti Suzuki Jimny would be launching in India around January 2023 with the estimated price of Rs 10.00 Lakh. The company showcased the Jimny compact SUV at the 2020 Auto Expo to gauge the public response.

2. Toyota Belta

The Toyota Belta (Japanese: トヨタ・ベルタ, Hepburn: Toyota Beruta), referred to in North American and Australian markets as the Yaris and in Asian markets as the Vios, is a subcompact sedan manufactured by Toyota.

3. Toyota Rumion

Toyota Rumion is a rebranded version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, which Toyota plans to bring to India sometime in mid-2022.

4. Mahindra Roxor

The Mahindra Roxor is a 4×4 off-road only utility vehicle assembled by Mahindra Automotive North America (MANA) since 2018. MANA is the US arm of Indian automotive companies Mahindra and Mahindra.

5. Mahindra Scorpio Getaway

Mahindra Scorpio Getaway 4WD BS IV is the top model in the Scorpio Getaway lineup and the price of Scorpio Getaway top model is Rs 12.24 Lakh. The Scorpio Getaway is available in 2WD and 4WD options and comes in 4 attractive colours. It pumps its power from its 2600cc common-rail diesel engine (CRDe).
