Shahid Kapoor, a Bollywood star, has purchased a new Mercedes-Maybach S580. According to sources, Shahid received the new saloon as a 41st birthday present. On Monday, he and his wife, Mira Rajpoot, received the S580. Ex-showroom, the new premium automobile costs Rs. 2.79 crores. The S580 costs roughly Rs. 3.79 crores on the road.
This is not the Bollywood actor’s first Mercedes-Benz or S-Class purchase. He was seen in an S400 variation of the previous-generation S-Class, which was additionally fitted with an AMG kit for a sportier appearance. It was powered by a 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine with a maximum output of 329 horsepower and peak torque of 480 Nm. When it was new, it was priced at Rs. 1.3 crores ex-showroom.

Pankaj Kapoor, the actor’s father, received a Mercedes-Benz ML-Class as a present. When the ML was on sale, it was placed underneath the GL. The ML-Class is no longer available. It has a 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine or a 5.5-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine.
