The 2022 Harley-Davidson Nightster, which is part of the Sportster family and prioritizes performance and a unique look, has made its global debut. According to Harley Davidson, it combines the traditional Sportster style with the performance of the new Revolution Max 975T powerplant, as well as a host of electronic rider aids and amenities aimed at a new generation of riders.
“By building on the 65-year Sportster history, the Nightster provides a canvas for creativity and individuality, delivering the ultimate platform for modification and expression for new and existing riders,” stated Jochen Zeitz, Chairman, President, and CEO of Harley-Davidson.
It has a 975cc liquid-cooled, 60-degree V-Twin Revolution Max 975T engine with variable valve timing and hydraulic valve lash adjustment. The engine produces 90 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and 95 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm. With a 97 mm bore and 66 mm stroke, it has a compression ratio of 12:1.
