One electric motor serves as a regenerator (ISG), while the other serves as a traction unit for the wheels. Its petrol engine produces 98bhp and 127Nm of torque, according to the manufacturer. The electric motor, on the other hand, produces 109bhp and 253Nm at zero revolutions per minute.

The Honda City eHEV is the first vehicle in its segment to use advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Lane keeping assist, mitigation, adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation braking system, road departure mitigation system, and auto high beam are all included in the suite. The model also comes with 37 Honda Connect features, including Smartwatch connectivity and support for Alexa and Ok Google.

The 2017 Honda City Hybrid is expected to receive the highest ASEAN NCAP safety rating. Six airbags, an electric parking brake, lanewatch, auto brake hold, and all four wheel disc brakes are included in the safety package. The hybrid sedan has a wheelbase of 2600mm and measures 4549mm in length, 1748mm in width, and 1489mm in height.
