On June 29, RM Sotheby’s will auction off the world’s sole white Ferrari Enzo, which might be one of the most valuable cars ever sold.
This Enzo was painted in Bianco Avus and rolled out of the factory on May 22, 2003. It is one of just 20 Enzos painted in a non-standard colour, an option accessible exclusively to Ferrari’s most prestigious customers, and the only one that is white.
The Enzo initially came into the hands of Symbol Automobiles in Matran, Switzerland, where it was sold to its first owner, a German-Swiss millionaire, according to the ad. They didn’t seem to drive the automobile very much, and it sat at the showroom for a long time. In 2011, it was sent to Hong Kong.
Because it is left-hand drive, the car was never registered in Hong Kong and instead languished in a substantial Ferrari collection. It earned Ferrari Classiche accreditation in November 2012 and was recently serviced by Blackbird Concessionaries, Hong Kong’s authorised Ferrari shop. Currently, the vehicle is in Canada.
Nero leather adorns the dashboard, steering wheel, and seat bolsters in this stunning Enzo’s cabin. Carbon fibre components may also be seen everywhere.
Power comes courtesy of a 6.0-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that pumps out 651 hp. This example has only been driven 9,600 km (5,965 miles) since new and would serve as the perfect addition to any private collection. Bidding will only be open for 24 hours.
Resale values of the Ferrari Enzo have been very strong in recent years and in August last year, a black example driven a touch over 17,000 miles (27,358 km) sold for $3.36 million. A lower-mileage Enzo driven just 4,760 km (2,957 miles) was sold for €2.84 million ($2.995 million) in March.
