TVS has released its second electric scooter, the all-new TVS X. This is the Hosur-based brand’s first performance electric scooter, and it comes with a slew of cool features in addition to the sleek look. TVS X Design
The new TVS X e-scooter has a dynamic appearance and a completely new design.The TVS X is built on TVS’s new XLETON platform and gets a maxi-style format. The TVSX is based on a new Xleton frame crafted of aluminum alloy. It is similar to the Creon idea that was shown a few years ago. In the production version of the new TVS X, the cuts and creases, sharp body panels, and young design approach are all quite visible.
TVS X Electric Features
Fully LED lighting, a 10.2-inch TFT screen with smartphone connectivity through TVS SmartXonnect for navigation, calls, and SMS access, a customized home screen, three riding modes (Xtride, Xonic, and Xtealth), OTA updates, cruise control, and a slew of other amenities are included. The TVS X Electric Scooter has a 4.44 kWh dual battery pack which is claimed to be dust and water-resistant.
TVS X Performance
The new TVS X EV has a peak speed of 105kmph and can sprint from 0 to 40kmph in 2.6 seconds, according to the company. It is powered by a 4.44kWh battery with a range of 140km and an 11kW (peak power) motor. Meanwhile, the hardware includes telescopic front forks, an offset monoshock, a 220mm front and 195mm rear disc brake with single-channel ABS, and a 220mm front and 195mm rear disc brake with dual-channel ABS. The setup is mounted on 12-inch wheels wrapped in a 100/80 front and a 110/80 rear tyre.
TVS X Price
Bookings for the TVS X have begun with a Rs. 5,000 non-refundable deposit. The delivery date is November, and the asking price is Rs. 2.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
