Ampere NXG Electric Scooter Everything You Need To Know

Ampere Electric is gearing up to introduce its new, premium scooter tomorrow. It is codenamed Ampere NXG and will most likely be referred known as the Ampere Nexus. This electric scooter will be positioned as Ampere’s premier product on the market. Here’s what to expect.

Ampere NXG Design

The Ampere Nexus is aimed at the family scooter buyer who is not searching for a sporty or showy scooter. Instead, they’re seeking for a scooter that looks attractive while being useful. A peek at spy images of test mules shows a clean and uncomplicated appearance, whether it’s the front apron, side panels, or tail section. There should be a few crease lines here and there to improve the appearance, but overall the motorcycle should seem unobtrusive.

The EV seems to be huge, with a long seat that can fit two persons and enough legroom on the floorboard for the rider to put their feet up.

Chasis

The new design has a redesigned underbone chassis supported by a telescopic fork and dual shock absorbers. The scooter has 12-inch alloy wheels, with a disc brake in the front and a drum brake in the back. This is the first Ampere scooter to use disc brakes.

Ampere Nexus Features

Because Ampere is presenting this scooter as their new luxury product, a number of features are anticipated of a scooter of this nature. It has all-LED lighting and a new colour TFT display with Bluetooth connection. Once the rider has paired their phone with the console, they may see incoming call and message information on the dash. It may also have turn-by-turn navigation, which is a useful function in these days.

Ampere has remained tight-lipped on the engine and battery, although rumor is that it will include a mid-mounted electric motor and a 120-kilometer-range battery.

Ampere is likely to price its electric scooter competitively in comparison to competitors such as the TVS iQube and the Ather Rizta. It should be priced between Rs 1.2 and 1.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
