As part of the numerous launches Ducati has scheduled for the upcoming few months, the 2025 Ducati Multistrada V4 and V4 S have been revealed. To improve the riding experience, Ducati claims that the Multistrada V4 has undergone mechanical, electrical, and visual upgrades.
DesignÂ
First, the new Multistrada V4 and V4 S have a few aesthetic changes, most notably in the way the bodywork is painted in various colors. The fuel tank, the extensions, and a portion of the beak are all colored in the base colors. The Multistrada V4 looks even more aggressive when viewed from a direct angle.
In addition, the silver radiator shrouds have a richer hue, and the V4 decal is distinctly legible due to its bold type. To further contrast with the overall design, Ducati has also opted for darker shades of gray and black for the double-sided swingarm and some of the plastic components. Additionally, the LED headlights are adjusted to provide improved illumination.
Thrilling Black, Artic White, and Ducati Red are the possible colors for the Multistrada V4 and V4 S.
Chassis and electronics
Ducati has made few yet significant changes to the chassis and electronics of the 2025 Multistrada V4 S. The Ducati Skyhook, electronic semi-active suspension now has a sensor in the front fork and a brand new monoshock. The suspension works in association with the new Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) system to offer real-time suspension adjustment. Essentially, the sensor in the front fork detects a bump in the road and automatically adjusts the rear suspension to help cushion the rider and pillion, keeping them comfortable.
When the bike’s speed falls below 10 kmph, a new automated lowering device on the rear monoshock lowers the bike. This facilitates riding at slower speeds, such as in traffic, and helps riders—especially the shorter ones—to stop quickly by allowing them to plant their feet firmly on the ground. The system can descend as much as 30 mm, contingent upon the weight. Once the speed exceeds 50 kmph, the bike rises to the preset level.
Ducati has included a forward collision warning system that functions in tandem with the front radar in addition to these characteristics. It does this by displaying a warning on the TFT dash to notify the rider of an approaching collision.
A revised swingarm pivot location that is elevated by 1 mm improves anti-squat performance even when the chassis is fully loaded. This is one of the other modifications made to the chassis. New forged alloy wheels, which are 2 kg lighter than the standard alloy wheels, are another option available for the Multistrada V4 S. The effort needed to steer the bike is lessened with lighter wheels, particularly in a chicane.
Finally, the larger 280mm rear brake contributes to better braking, particularly when the bike is fully loaded.
Passenger ergonomics
Ducati has repositioned the pannier rack and top box rack to provide the passenger 20mm greater legroom in response to customer comments. For a more durable mount, the top box rack is now composed of aluminum rather than hard plastic.
It is expected that the 2025 Ducati Multistrada V4 and V4 S would go on sale in India by the end of this year or the beginning of next.
