Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror Launched At Rs. 2.25 Lakh

Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has launched the Black Mirror model of the 42 Bobber in India, priced at Rs. 2.25 lakh (ex-showroom). The single-seater Bobber is roughly Rs. 12,000 more expensive than the normal colors, but it gets a slew of cosmetic upgrades that make it one of the best-looking bikes in the entry-level middleweight segment.

The Jawa 42 Bobber is also available in Jasper Red, Mystic Copper, and Moonstone White paint schemes. As the new Black Mirror sits at the top of the spectrum, they are priced between Rs. 2.11 lakh and Rs. 2.14 lakh (ex-showroom). Because of the modifications, the Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror has a remarkable aesthetic presence.

It has diamond-cut alloy wheels that replace the spoked wheels on the front and rear. As a result, tubeless tyres have supplanted tubed rubber. The chrome fuel tank complements the overall posture, as do the black-coated body panels. The throttle body has been enlarged by 5 mm to 38 mm, and the idle speed has been reduced from 1,500 to 1,300 rpm.

Other revisions to the Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror include altered gear and engine covers, as well as an upgraded fuel map. In terms of performance, the engine is a 334 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine capable of producing 29 bhp and 32.7 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission.

A USB charging connector, an all-digital instrument console, LED headlight, tail lamp, and turn indicators, slip and assist clutch, bar-end mirrors, and other features are also included. The blackened front and rear fenders add to the drama, while the vintage-styled exhaust system with heatshield and single-seat configuration enhance the overall aesthetic.

It is supported by telescopic front forks and a seven-step pre-load adjustable monoshock at the back, with front and rear disc brakes helped by a dual-channel ABS system. It is supported by a tubular frame with twin cradles.
