Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition At Rs 4.98 Crore

At a price of Rs 4.98 crore (ex-showroom), JLR (previously Jaguar Land Rover) has introduced the Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition, the brand’s first-ever India-only vehicle. This special edition, which is limited to just 12 pieces, is inspired by Rajasthan’s Ranthambore National Park, which is well-known for its tigers and other animals. JLR has promised to support tiger and wildlife conservation projects by contributing a portion of the proceeds from each car sale to the Wildlife Conservation Trust of India as part of the launch.

The Ranthambore Edition’s distinctive paint job is a nod to the tiger, as designed by Range Rover’s SV Bespoke personalization team. The car has a black body color with a hint of crimson glitter to it. Corinthian Bronze and Anthracite accents, which are evocative of a tiger’s stripes, balance this. The front grille, side gills, and front and rear branding all have these characteristics. The SUV has ceramic-finished SV roundel at the back, and it is mounted on 23-inch forged dark grey wheels with Corinthian bronze inlays.

The Ranthambore Edition’s interior features contrast stitching and a blend of light Perlino semi-aniline leather and caraway. The stripes along a tiger’s spine serve as the model for the embroidery on the seats. Additional features of the SUV include fully retractable seats, a motorized club table, detachable cupholders, and a refrigerator section with SV-branded glassware.

The paint, highlights, wheels, and embroidery are all bespoke elements. SV Bespoke-branded lighted tread plates with the phrases “Ranthambore Edition” and “1 of 12” are among the extras.
