Ajay Devgn recently made headlines after purchasing a brand new Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600. And now, the actor has purchased another Mercedes-Benz premium model, the S-Class car.

Ajay Devgn’s new Mercedes-Benz S-Class is the S 450 4MATIC variation of the flagship sedan, which is the S-sole Class’s petrol-powered model. The S 450 4MATIC is powered by a 3.0-litre inline-six engine that produces 365 PS and 500 Nm of torque. As the suffix 4MATIC indicates, this S-Class is equipped with Mercedes-all-wheel Benz’s drive system. For improved fuel efficiency, the engine is mated with a 9G-Tronic 9-speed automatic transmission and is supported by an EQ boost mild-hybrid system.
Ajay Devgn is not the only Bollywood actor who has just acquired the all-new generation S-Class. Many other Bollywood celebrities, like Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor, have acquired one in the same colour of white. Bollywood stars, like Shahid Kapoor, have acquired its more sumptuous variant, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class.
Various engine choices
In addition to the 3.0-litre inline-six turbocharged petrol engine, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class is available in two variants: S 350d and S 400d 4MATIC. In the S 350d model, this engine produces 285 PS and 600 Nm of torque, while the S 400d variant produces 330 PS and 700 Nm of torque from the same diesel engine.
However, the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 has been the most popular Mercedes-Benz product in Bollywood in recent decades. SUVs are becoming more popular than sedans, even among celebrities. Aside from Ajay Devgn, numerous Bollywood celebrities, like Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Kriti Sanon, have already purchased the Maybach version of the GLS-Class SUV.
