BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover was recently featured in a tele-series. During the presentation, he disclosed that he is a car enthusiast who enjoys driving around on deserted roads at night. His two autos were even shown in the tele-series. However, he has a large number of cars stored in his garage. Here’s a list of them.
Ashneer Grover Cars
1. Mercedes-Maybach S650
The Mercedes-Maybach S650 has become one of the most sought-after automobiles among celebrities and businesspeople. In India, the new S650 is a familiar sight in many garages. Even Ashneer possesses a white version.
On the road, the luxury vehicle costs roughly Rs 2.5 crore. It has a 4.0-liter V8 Biturbo petrol engine that produces 469 horsepower and 700 Nm of peak torque. It has an AWD system and is powered by an automatic transmission.
2. Porsche Cayman
The next car on the list is a green Porsche Cayman, which Ashneer takes for late-night excursions through New Delhi’s deserted streets. The Porsche Cayman is the Stuttgart-based carmaker’s entry-level model, and it also happens to be one of the best two-door sports coupes available in India. Ashneer appears to be the owner of the Porsche Cayman’s base model, which is powered by a 2.0-litre 295-bhp turbo-petrol engine.
3. Mercedes Benz GLS 350
Ashneer’s current car collection includes only one SUV, a Mercedes Benz GLS 350. Ashneer drives a white GLS 350, which is effectively the SUV’s previous generation model. While it is unclear whether this is a petrol or diesel-powered version of the GLS, the SUV’s diesel models were more popular. The Mercedes-Benz GLS 350 was the best-selling luxury seven-seater SUV in India at one point.
4. Audi A6
Ashneer Grover also owns a white Audi A6, which is primarily driven by his wife, Madhuri Jain Grover. The Audi A6 is one of the most popular sedans in the midsize luxury sedan market, thanks to its rear-seat comfort and onboard innovations. Ashneer has a previous-generation Audi A6, albeit it is unclear whether it is a petrol or diesel engine.
5. Hyundai Verna
The white-colored Hyundai Verna, the humblest automobile in Ashneer Grover’s collection, is another car that graces its presence among the considerably more costly luxury choices in his garage. Ashneer’s Verna is the pre-facelift variant of the third-generation Verna offered in India. It’s unclear whether this Hyundai Verna is the petrol or diesel version, as it is with the A6 and GLS. The Verna was available with 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines in this edition.
