Bajaj showcased its first flex-fuel bike, the Pulsar NS160, at Auto Expo 2023. Bajaj Pulsar NS160 was Bajaj’s response to the booming 160cc sporty streetfighter segment. It features a similar styling to its bigger sibling, the Pulsar NS200 while offering a balance of performance and efficiency, thanks to its smaller heart.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is available in a single variant and is priced at Rs 1,25,114 (ex-showroom Delhi). It is offered in Metallic Pearl White, Burnt Red, Satin Blue, and Pewter Grey colorways.

The Pulsar NS160 gets a sharp, aggressive streetfighter aesthetic with a muscular mass-forward look. It gets a halogen headlamp with pilot lamps and a semi-digital instrument cluster. The raised clip-on handlebars and split seats ensure a comfortable yet slightly sporty riding position. To keep costs in check, Bajaj has equipped the Pulsar NS160 with single-channel ABS.

The Pulsar NS160 is powered by a 160.3cc air-/oil-cooled motor with fuel injection, delivering 17.2PS at 9,000rpm and 14.6Nm at 7250rpm, paired to a 5-speed gearbox. This is 1.7PS more than its BS4 iteration.
Bajaj Pulsar NS160 Suspension and Brakes
The Pulsar NS160 gets a perimeter frame, and the suspension duties are handled by a conventional telescopic fork and a preload adjustable monoshock. Its braking setup consists of a single 260mm petal disc up front and a 230mm disc at the rear, with the safety net of single-channel ABS. The bike’s 17-inch alloys are wrapped with 90/90-section front and 120/80-section rear tyres.
