BMW Motorrad India has unveiled the 2025 edition of the C 400 GT, a maxi-scooter offering that, despite its high price, has generated significant sales for the business. The 2025 C 400 GT is now priced at Rs 11.50 lakh ex-showroom, which is Rs 25,000 higher than the previous model. It is still available in India as a completely built-up unit (CBU).
BMW C 400 GT: Design
While the fundamental appearance remains same, BMW has fitted the scooter with a new windscreen for enhanced wind protection, and the seat height has been reduced by 10 mm, from 775 mm to 765 mm, to improve accessibility. In addition to the aforementioned features, BMW Motorrad has introduced a new Exclusive edition that includes golden alloy wheels, brake calipers, distinctive graphics, an embroidered insignia on the seat, a light-tinted windscreen, floor lights with BMW logo projection, and stainless steel floorboard inlays. These additional features are optional and cost more than the regular model.
BMW C 400 GT: Powertrain
The C 400 GT is powered by the same 350cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 33.5 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 35 Nm at 5,750 rpm. It has a 12.8-litre gasoline tank and weighs 214 kg kerb. The scooter has 15-inch front and 14-inch rear alloy wheels, as well as a telescopic fork and preload-adjustable dual springs for suspension.
BMW C 400 GT: Features
On the technical front, the 2025 C 400 GT now comes standard with lean-sensitive ABS Pro, Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), and Engine Drag Torque Control (MSR). It also has a larger 10.25-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth support, a USB-C charging connector, and more storage space. The front storage compartment and boot room have been expanded, with a 4.5-litre front container and a generous 37.6-litre under-seat storage area.
BMW Motorrad offers the 2025 C 400 GT in two colors: Black Storm and Diamond White Metallic; the latter is only available with the special edition.
