BMW CE 02 Electric Scooter Launch On October 1

BMW Motor is preparing for the release of the more reasonably priced CE 02 electric scooter, which is intended for urban commuting and features a futuristic, minimalistic design with an emphasis on utility, after the CE 04 model. Its simple appearance, which features few body panels, reflects a design concept that puts functionality first. The scooter’s electric motor and battery are its main structural components, emphasizing its efficiency and use in urban settings.

The purpose of the CE 02, which sits beneath the BMW CE 04, is to offer a fashionable and environmentally responsible way to commute for daily city rides. The single-battery system, which is perfect for quick city trips, has a 45 km range and a top speed of 45 kmph. It is powered by a 2kWh air-cooled synchronous motor. The optional dual-battery setup doubles the range to 90 km and increases the top speed to 95 kmph for individuals who require more power and range.

The CE 02’s suspension system consists of an adjustable monoshock setup, a high-end upside-down fork, and a double-loop steel frame. The scooter has 14-inch wheels, and its braking system consists of two discs, one at the front (239 mm) and one at the back (220 mm).

The instrument cluster of the BMW CE 02 has a 3.5-inch micro TFT display, which offers rudimentary connection to educate riders about vital information like speed, range, and battery status. The scooter also has two riding modes: Flow and Surf.

The CE 02 is anticipated to be more expensive given the premium BMW brand, probably placing it above BMW’s 310 series of bikes. We anticipate that the pricing would be between Rs 4 lakh and Rs 5 lakh.
