Arshad Warsi, a Bollywood star, has purchased a Toyota Hilux truck. He is most likely the first celebrity in India to acquire a Hilux. Here’s a photo of him accepting the automobile and a special present from the Toyota dealership showroom.
The footage shows a Toyota official handing off the automobile to Arshad Warsi at his Mumbai home. Arshad Warsi can also be seen in the video. Warsi is also given a snapshot of his movie posters and the Hilux as a gift at the Toyota showroom.
LED fog lamps, 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, and chrome finishes on the door handles and tailgate are among the eye-catching elements. The exterior colors of the Hilux are White Pearl, Emotional Red, Super White, Grey Metallic, and Silver Metallic.
Leather upholstery, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone automatic climate control, a cooled glovebox, cruise control, steering wheel adjustment for tilt and telescopic settings, and a powered driver’s seat are standard in the Hilux’s cabin.
Toyota Hilux Specs
The Toyota Hilux is widely regarded as one of the most dependable and long-lasting pickup trucks on the market. In 2021, India will welcome the eighth-generation Hilux, which will be available in two trim levels: Standard and High. Both are powered by a 2.8-liter four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 204 PS and 500 Nm of torque. Each model includes a 6-speed manual transmission and four-wheel drive as standard, with the High edition also including a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The entry-level Standard MT, which is assembled in India with 30-35% local components, experienced a price cut of Rs 3.59 lakh, creating a new beginning price of Rs 30.40 lakh. The more premium High model, on the other hand, had a price hike. This premium model is available with both manual and automatic gearboxes.
Toyota provided significant discounts of more than Rs 6 lakh on the Hilux lifestyle pickup truck. Surprisingly, the High variety, which is the more expensive option, is getting larger discounts. Some Toyota shops in North India are offering discounts ranging from Rs 6-8 lakh on the Hilux, which was first introduced in 2022 with a base price of Rs 33.99 lakh.
