The ultra-luxurious Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 is becoming a household name among Bollywood celebrities. Taapsee Pannu, who has appeared in films like as Dunki, Thappad, Badla, and others, has purchased the new Mercedes-Maybach GLS600. Over the weekend, she received her new automobile.
Taapsee Pannu purchased the new Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 SUV in Palladium Silver, a color not chosen by the majority of GLS600 owners. The SUV was delivered to her residence.
Mercedes-Maybach debuted its first SUV in the Indian market in 2021. Initially, all 50 units assigned to the country had been sold. The car is still in high demand, and there is a lengthy waiting list. The Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 starts at Rs 2.35 crore ex-showroom, with no personalization choices. Taapsee already owns a Mercedes-Benz GLE, which is a premium SUV but is not as sumptuous as the GLS600.
About Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 SUV
The Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 comes in only one configuration. It is a CBU import, and the model had previously sold out in the Indian market.
The car has the stereotypical Maybach look, complete with a large chrome-dipped grille. Other changes have been made to the vehicle. The B-pillar gets chrome inserts, and the D-pillar gets the Maybach logo.
The GLS 600 is available in four and five-seater variants. The four-seater model has a fixed center console with space for a refrigerator to hold champagne bottles as well as silver champagne flutes. Nappa leather interior, an electronic panoramic sliding sunroof, ventilated massaging seats, and much more are included. We’re not sure what personalization options Taapsee selected for herself. Furthermore, it is impossible to tell if the car she purchased is a 5-seater or a 7-seater because they both appear identical.
Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 SUV Engine
The Maybach GLS 600 is also more powerful than the basic model. It is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system. The engine has a maximum power output of 557 PS and a torque output of 730 Nm. The hybrid technology adds 22 PS and 250 Nm of torque on demand. A 9-speed automatic transmission sends power to all four wheels.
The GLS600 also includes Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist, Active Brake Assist, Active Steering Assist, and other safety technologies.

The Maybach GLS also has Adaptive High Beam Assist, Adaptive LED tail lamps, 8 airbags, TPMS, a Parking Package with a 360-degree camera, an electronic traffic control system, downhill speed regulation, off-road driving mode, PRE-SAFE system, car wash mode, attention assist, ABS, EBD, driver and passenger safety vests, and other features.
