Suniel Shetty, a Bollywood actor and producer, has purchased his first electric vehicle, an MG Comet painted in Starry Black. The star announced the news on social media while posing with his new automobile. The MG Comet is the company’s second electric vehicle in India, following the MG ZS EV. It comes in three different models: Pace, Play, and Plush, with costs ranging from Rs 7.98 lakh to Rs 10.63 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Comet EV is equipped with a 17.3kWh battery pack that offers a stated range of up to 230 km (IDC) on a full charge. It also has an electric motor that delivers 40 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque. Dual front airbags, ABS+EBD, a tire pressure monitoring system, and a reverse parking camera and sensors are among the safety features.
Inside, there are two screens, one for the digital instrument cluster and the other for the center console. On higher variations, the displays are 10.25 inches in size and equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features include a smart key with two-way sharing and an iSmart with a variety of connected automobile functions.
Suniel Shetty’s garage also holds a Mercedes Benz GLS 350D, a Hummer H2, a BMW X5, and a Land Rover Defender 110, which he purchased in March of this year.
