Bowers & Wilkins’ flagship Px8 headphones now come in a McLaren Edition. The limited edition set commemorates the collaboration of these two British brands, with the world-renowned premium audio brand responsible for the high-performance audio systems found inside McLaren vehicles.
The Bowers & Wilkins Px8 McLaren Edition headphones, in particular, commemorate yet another collaboration between the two companies. The Px8 McLaren Edition is finished in Galvanic Grey and Papaya Orange. The headphones use Qualcomm’s aptXTM Adaptive wireless technology and are said to have exceptional detail, resolution, and spaciousness due to all-new bespoke 40mm Carbon Cone drive units found inside each pair. The units are said to be carefully angled inside each earcup to ensure a consistent distance from every point relative to the listener’s ears.
The drive units work in tandem with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) developed by Bowers & Wilkins to deliver 24-bit high-resolution sound quality from leading streaming services. The Px8 also includes noise-cancellation technology, with six microphones measuring the output of each drive unit, reacting to outside noise, and providing outstanding voice clarity with enhanced noise suppression.

The Bowers & Wilkins Music App is used to set up and use the Px8 McLaren Edition. It’s meant to make connecting the Px8 to a mobile device easier, as well as support fine-tuning the sound through adjustable EQ and allow owners to configure their preferred noise-canceling mode. It can also keep track of the battery’s charge level. In terms of battery life, the headphones should last for 30 hours between charges.
The Bowers & Wilkins Px8 McLaren Edition is now on the market for $799.
