Citroen India and JIO BP To Build EV Charging Stations Together

Citroen India has announced a collaboration with Jio – BP to develop EV charging stations and services throughout its network. Jio-BP will gradually deploy DC fast chargers across Citroen’s dealership network and workshops across the country. These chargers will also be available to the full universe of EV car customers, helping to encourage consumer EV adoption.

At the same time, Citroen has stated that the e-C3 all-electric hatchback will be available in Q1 2023. This collaboration will ensure that Jio-charging BP’s infrastructure network is accessible through the ‘My Citroen Connect’ app prior to the model’s release.

Jio-BP now maintains a network of EV charging and switching stations under the Jio-BP Pulse brand. The whole scope of this product is accessible via its mobile app, which is designed to assist users in locating EV charging stations in their area, facilitating digital payments, and more.
