Hero MotoCorp will soon release the Stealth Edition 2.0 of the Xtreme 160R naked motorcycle in India. The price of the Xtreme 160R is currently between Rs. 1.18 lakh and Rs. 1.23 lakh (ex-showroom), and the existing Stealth Edition was introduced in October 2021. It is currently at the top of the range, and the updated 2.0 will most likely include visual improvements.
The Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition 2.0, like the Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition in 2021, will target audiences looking to buy a new motorcycle during the festive season, as positive buying sentiments are generally present during this auspicious period. The existing Stealth Edition’s matte black colour scheme is expected to be carried over with some updates.

It will still have LED turn signals, a side stand engine cut-off function, an integrated USB charging port, and the ability to adjust the instrument cluster’s LCD brightness. Other highlights will include the existing model’s gear position indicator on the console. In terms of design, it may receive new 3D emblem branding and a new ‘Stealth’ badge, but no official information has been released.

According to Hero, the 160 cc motorcycle is available at authorised dealerships throughout the country. The same 160 cc air-cooled single-cylinder Fi BSVI-compliant engine will power the Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition 2.0, with no performance changes. It is capable of producing a maximum power output of 15.2 PS at 8,500 rpm.
The engine will be mated to a five-speed transmission. The Xtreme 160R naked motorcycle has a low kerb weight of just 140 kilogrammes, and its lightweight rigid diamond frame allows it to have sporty handling characteristics. The Hero Xtreme 160R primarily competes with the Bajaj Pulsar N160 and the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.
Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition 2.0 Braking
The 2022 Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition 2.0 will have 37 mm telescopic front forks as well as a seven-step adjustable monoshock rear suspension. The brakes will be 276 mm front and 220 mm rear discs with a single-channel ABS system.
