Hyundai Creta To Get New Features In 2023 – See Details

With new product debuts, the mid-size market is becoming congested, and the most recent additions to the bandwagon are the Maruti Grand Vitara and Toyota Hyryder. Indeed, carmakers such as Honda and Citroen are preparing to launch new SUVs to threaten the Hyundai Creta’s dominance. Kia Seltos, the segment’s second best-selling vehicle, will also get a mid-life refresh this year. Here’s a rundown of the impending new Hyundai Creta competitors, which are expected to enter the market in 2023.

Hyundai Creta Competitors to Come Kia Seltos Facelift in 2023

The redesigned Kia Seltos is expected to hit the market in mid-2023. One of the most significant alterations will be done beneath the hood. The SUV will have a new 1.5L turbo petrol engine with 160bhp and 253Nm of torque. The new gasoline engine will take the place of the old 140bhp, 1.4L turbo petrol engine. It is available with either a 7-speed DCT or a 6-speed manual transmission. The new 2023 Kia Seltos facelift will also come with 115bhp, 1.5L petrol and 115bhp, 1.5L turbo diesel engines. The Indian-spec vehicle may receive ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) technology, as well as a few feature enhancements and aesthetic tweaks, similar to the global-spec model.

Honda SUV Midsize

Honda Cars India has revealed that their new SUV (a competitor to the Hyundai Creta) would be on sale in summer 2023. It is slated to hit the market during the 2023 holiday season. The City’s 121bhp, 1.5L normally aspirated petrol and 1.5L strong-hybrid petrol engines might be featured in the car. A 5-speed manual, a CVT automatic, and an e-drive with strong hybrid will be available as transmission options. The next Honda SUV will be about 4.2-4.3 metres long and will be built on a modified version of the Amaze chassis. The teaser image suggests that the new SUV would be inspired by Honda’s latest worldwide SUVs, such as the HR-V.

C3 Aircross Citroen

In the second half of 2023, the French carmaker plans to enter the extremely competitive mid-size SUV category. The car will be called the Citroen C3 Aircross and will be inspired by the C3. In actuality, it will be a longer version of the C3 hatchback. According to a recent media source, the new C3 Aircross will be offered in two and three-row seating arrangements. The SUV might be powered by the same 1.2L turbo petrol engine that powers the C3 hatchback’s higher trim levels. The motor has a maximum power output of 110bhp.
