The Super Meteor 650 motorcycle, manufactured by Gurugram-based Royal Enfield, has made its North American debut months after it was first introduced in India in January of this year. The same three models that are offered in the home country of the manufacturer—Astral, Celestial, and Interstellar—will be shipped by the India-made Super Meteor 650 to the North American market.

The Super Meteor 650 from Royal Enfield has a starting price of $7000 (about ₹5.81 lakh) and goes up to ₹$7500 (about ₹6.23 lakh) in the US market. The base price of the vehicle in India was ₹3.49 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top-spec Celestial variant cost ₹3.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
Features:
The two-wheeler is equipped with dual-channel ABS as standard, LED headlamps, USB port, Tripper navigation unit (with Bluetooth connectivity), warning lights, alloy wheels (19-inch front and 16-inch front; covered in CEAT Zoom Cruz tyres), and other features.
Powertrain:
The car is equipped with the same 648 cc parallel twin-cylinder engine that drives the Super Meteor 650 in the company’s native country. This engine produces a maximum power output of 46.3 Nm and a peak torque of 52.3 Nm. Additionally, a 6-speed gearbox is mated to the engine.
Colours:
While the Celestial model of the motorcycle has two-tone colors—red and blue—with cream serving as the secondary paint, the Astral model comes in black, blue, and green color options. Conversely, purchasers can choose between gray and green with the Interstellar trim.
