Kia Seltos Facelift Will Launch During The Festivals 2023

Kia Seltos Facelift Will Launch During The Festivals 2023

Kia’s next significant introduction in the Indian automobile market will be a facelifted version of the Seltos. The updated Kia Seltos is expected to be released in India in mid-2023, between July and September. It suggests that the new Kia Seltos facelift might arrive in India just in time for the Christmas season.

The Kia Seltos facelift was previously introduced in numerous worldwide automobile markets last year, but it has yet to make its formal debut in India. The new Seltos was supposed to be unveiled at the Auto Expo 2023, but the SUV was nowhere to be found during India’s largest exposition event. The 2019 Seltos facelift, like the worldwide model, will receive external updates, a new cabin layout, and altered engine options.

Concerning the appearance, the 2018 Kia Seltos facelift will have a redesigned fascia, a revised front grille, and new headlights with improved daytime running LEDs and fog lamps. The front bumper will be completely rebuilt, as will the skid plate. While the side profile will only receive new alloy wheels, the Seltos facelift will have revised LED tail lights with an LED connecting light bar across the width of the boot lid at the back.

The 2019 Kia Seltosw makeover will also have a different cabin layout than the existing model, with a redesigned cockpit layout for the instrument console and touchscreen infotainment system. While the instrument panel will be all-digital, the centre console will be updated with new audio and temperature control settings. Automatic models, like the international model, may include a rotary knob-style transmission lever.

Mechanicals are the same.

The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated 115 PS petrol engine and the 1.5-litre 115 diesel engine will be retained in the Kia Seltos facelift. The 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine, on the other hand, will be replaced with a new 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine. Hyundai has already removed the 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine from the Creta lineup for 2023, and Kia is anticipated to do the same, as well as discontinue the existing pre-facelift model.

According to rumours, the new 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine will be available with both a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The engine is said to produce 160 PS of maximum power and 253 Nm of peak torque.
