When it comes to his automobile collection and what he owns, Indian batsman KL Rahul has received a lot of attention. The latest to make news is his new Land Rover Defender 110, the five-door version for those unfamiliar, which starts at Rs 1.19 crore ex-showroom.
According to reports, the Defender 110 could be driven by a 3.0-litre diesel engine producing 296bhp and 650Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission, and it can go anywhere.
KL Rahul Car Collection
KL Rahul has numerous exotic cars, including a Range Rover Velar, and the Defender is not his sole Land Rover. The type he owns is unknown, although it is assumed that he owns the 5.0-litre supercharged version, which produces 543bhp and 680Nm of torque. Sticking with SUVs, the next vehicle in his garage is a BMW X5, which is powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8.
Moving on to two-seaters, we must emphasize the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder, since the Huracan series has been one of the carmaker’s best-sellers globally. The Huracan convertible is driven by a 5.2-liter V10 engine with 602bhp and 560Nm of torque. An Aston Martin DB11, a rare car in India, is another two-seater in his garage. The DB11 is powered by a 5.2-litre V12 engine that produces 503bhp and 675Nm of torque using an 8-speed DCT transmission.
The following car, a Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG, has two doors but four seats, proving that it’s not all SUVs and two-seaters. The cricketer should have a soft spot in his heart for the saloon, which features a 3.0-litre V6 engine.
