Lotus has revealed the Eletre, its first-ever SUV and dedicated electric vehicle, after years of speculation. The Eletre has received mixed reviews.
Some people believe Lotus should never make an SUV, let alone an electric one, while others believe it’s a necessary evil if the company wants to stay afloat and continue producing sports cars, and still others are genuinely excited about the prospect of a Lotus SUV with 592 horsepower (600 PS / 441 kW) and a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) time of under three seconds. Whatever your feelings about the car, Lotus has now created a configurator that allows you to personalise it to your heart’s content.

There are several customization choices available in the configurator. The outside is where the process begins, with six various colours to choose from. The automobile is available in a variety of white, black, and grey colours, but there are also some more vibrant possibilities in the shape of green, yellow, and red. Buyers may then select among yellow, black, grey, red, or green brake callipers, as well as light or dark wheels (both of which are the same type) with yellow or black centre caps.
The interior style is the final (and possibly the most bizarre) configuration stage. Lotus provides four different interior options for the Eletre, with only the all-black upholstery being regarded “boring.” There’s also tan and black, white and black with yellow stripes, and arguably the strangest of all: green and black with yellow stripes, for those who want a little extra spice.
