With the tagline “Big Daddy Of SUVs,” the all-new Mahindra Scorpio-N has certainly piqued the interest of the Indian market. Mahindra began delivering the all-new Scorpio-N a few weeks ago, and it is quickly becoming common on the roads. The owners of the Mahindra Scorpio-N are definitely putting it through its paces and taking it to some extremes. This Mahindra Scorpio-N owner drove it over a pond and got royally stuck.
The video was created by the owner of the Mahindra Thar, who received a call for assistance from the owner of the Scorpio-N. The Mahindra Scorpio-N can be seen stuck on the pond’s edge. The small pond has vertical walls and a drop of nearly 90 degrees. We’re not sure what the Mahindra Scorpio-owner N’s was trying to accomplish or how the vehicle got stuck in this situation.
Anyone with even a little driving experience would have predicted that any car would become stuck in this situation. The Mahindra Thar was equipped with an electric winch that was used to recover the Scorpio-N.
The owner began slowly pulling back the winch after attaching it to the rear tow hook of the Mahindra Scorpio-N. It was a difficult recovery because the vehicle was resting on the floor. However, because the vehicle was stuck, it scratched the entire time. During the recovery, the front bumper of the vehicle was damaged, and the registration plate fell out.
This was a 4X2 Scorpio-N, but it wouldn’t have mattered if it had also been a 4X4. Any civilian vehicle in stock condition would have been trapped in a similar situation.
