Along with the newly announced connection capabilities, Maruti Suzuki has pushed out a new safety feature upgrade for the Baleno. The electronic stability programme (ESP) is now standard on all models of the premium hatchback. Previously, the ESP was only available in the top-spec Alpha and AMT trims of Delta and Zeta.
The new Maruti Suzuki Baleno was introduced in February 2022, featuring improved external style and a redesigned interior. A huge nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a heads-up display, an Arkamys sound system, a height-adjustable driver seat, and six airbags are standard. The 1.2-litre petrol engine in the Maruti Baleno delivers 89bhp and 113Nm of peak torque. It comes equipped with idle start/stop technology and is paired with a five-speed manual transmission and an AMT unit. It comes in Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha models with six colour variations.
Aside from that, Maruti Suzuki has increased the price of the Baleno by Rs 12,000, with a starting price of Rs 6.56 lakh (ex-showroom).
