Finally, Mercedes-Benz has provided an official description of what to anticipate from the EQE SUV. Before its launch in October 2022, the German automaker provides a first look at the electric SUV in a series of lifelike renderings.

Mercedes-Benz refers to the EQE SUV as a “multi-purpose variant” of the EQE sedan and praises its class-leading headroom, legroom, and elbow room. With its upcoming model, Mercedes is proud of a number of other things as well.

Mercedes uses a blend of conventional and modern materials inside the EQE SUV, which gives the vehicle an avant-garde architecture theme. Additionally, a five-color scheme that combines warm and cool tones is employed. The Neva Grey and Biscay Blue/Black represent the cool, futuristic end of the spectrum, while the Balao Brown represents the warm side.

The EQE SUV features backlit interior lighting, just like the other EQ models. Additionally, the dashboard’s optional MBUX Hyperscreen and outer vents with a turbine design are available. The cabin’s components are finished off with wood, aluminium, 3D anthracite, and fine metal pigments.

Although the EQE SUV has been spotted on the road several times, little is known about its powertrain at this time. But the EQE sedan ought to give you a hint of what to anticipate from the SUV. The 677 horsepower (506 kilowatt) rating from two electric motors and a 90.6 kWh battery will probably be used for the EQE 53 SUV. The EQE 43 SUV could have the same 469 horsepower (350 kW) as the EQE 43 sedan.

The EQE SUV’s world premiere has been officially announced by Mercedes-Benz for October 16, 2022, which is just a few weeks away. On or before that date, we’ll learn more about the model.
