M&M Registers Highest-Ever Monthly SUV

Mahindra also witnessed highest-ever monthly sales of its electric three-wheelers of 4,071 vehicles, growing by 170%.

Mahindra and Mahindra recorded its highest-ever monthly sales volume of 64,486 vehicles in September, representing a 129% increase over last year, as well as its highest-ever quarterly sales volume of 179,673 vehicles, representing a 77% increase over last year. The automaker has risen to first place in SUV sales, with 34,262 vehicles sold, a 166% increase.

In addition, the company saw its highest-ever monthly sales of electric three-wheelers of 4,071 vehicles, up 170% from the previous year. For the month, the company exported 2,538 vehicles. “September was a thrilling month, with a strong start to the holiday season.” “We continue to see very strong demand and performance across our entire product portfolio, including SUVs, LCVs under 3.5 tons, and our Last Mile Mobility brands,” said Veejay Nakra, Mahindra’s President, Automotive Division.

A separate development was the company’s start of Mahindra Scorpio-N SUV deliveries in the Indian auto industry. The Mahindra Scorpio-N has received a tremendous response, with over one lakh bookings made in just 30 minutes on July 30, the day the reservation window opened. While the response has been stronger than demand for the Thar and XUV700, the delivery timelines are now being closely monitored.

Mahindra had previously stated that Scorpio-N deliveries would begin around the holiday season, with the first round of orders expected to be completed by the end of December. This is only valid for the first 25,000 reservations. The company would share timetables for subsequent bookings at a later date.

The Mahindra Scorpio-N is powered by a mStallion petrol engine with 200 PS and 380 Nm or a mHawk diesel engine with 175 PS and 400 Nm. It also has a spacious cabin and is fairly well-equipped, with features such as a 12-speaker Sony system with 3D surround system. It has Apple Car Play and Android Auto compatibility, a 20.32-cm infotainment screen, the segment’s largest sunroof, rich coffee black leatherette seats, six-way power adjustable seats, and more than 70 connected car features.
