For auto enthusiasts, the following months will undoubtedly be extremely exciting, as several new automobile releases have been planned across several segments. Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest passenger car manufacturer, has already released a number of revised and new models, and it plans to release many more. Customers may expect large releases from Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra, both of which are based in India. Upcoming Cars From Maruti, Tata, Mahindra
1. New Gen Maruti Brezza
In April 2022, the second-generation Maruti Brezza will be available in stores. The subcompact SUV is said to come with a 360-degree camera, as well as a factory-installed electric sunroof and paddle shifters, which are all segment firsts. It will have a larger touchscreen infotainment system than previously, as well as wireless smartphone connectivity. The 2022 Maruti Brezza will be safer than its current iteration, with six airbags and ESP (electronic stability programme).
If reports are to be believed, the existing mild hybrid system and 4-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox will be replaced with the stronger hybrid tec and a new 6-speed automatic transmission respectively. The SUV will continue to use the sae 1.5L K15B petrol engine. Significant cosmetic changes will be made to its exterior as well.

2. 2022 Tata Nexon EV
The Tata Nexon EV facelift for 2022 will be available in the following months. The new model will have a larger 40kWh battery pack that will provide a range of nearly 400km on a single charge. The Nexon EV is now available with a 30.2kWh battery pack with a 312km ARAI-certified range. To accommodate the larger battery pack, the floor pan is likely to be modified. This time around, the electric SUV could come with an electrical stabilisation programme as well (ESP).
The 2019 Nexon EV is rumoured to get freshly designed dual-tone 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels on the outside. Compared to the current generation, the new one will surely be slightly more expensive. It’s estimated to cost around Rs 3 lakh – Rs 4 lakh higher.

3. Next Gen Mahindra Scorpio
In the next months, Mahindra’s popular Scorpio SUV will enter its second generation. The new model is expected to make its premiere in June, followed by a market launch in July. Its façade and interior will be completely remodelled. The SUV will also be equipped with the new engine configuration. The 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L turbo diesel engines in the Mahindra Scorpio 2022 will produce 130bhp/160bhp and 155bhp, respectively. It will be available with a 6-speed manual or a torque converter automatic transmission.
The top-of-the-line models will be equipped with a 4X4 powertrain system, as well as drive modes and terrain modes. The new-generation Scorpio will be larger and have more premium features on board than the current model.
