Despite Ford’s departure from our country, the Indian people are always excited about its new models around the world. The new-generation Endeavour (also known as Everest) has arrived in Thailand, with a starting price of 1.464 million baht (approximately 32.99 lakh Indian Rupees). The third-generation Ford Endeavour has received numerous interior and exterior upgrades, and the seven-seater is available in 2.0L Turbo Sport 42 and 2.0L Bi-Turbo Titanium+ 44 variants. The Titanium+ 2.0-liter twin-turbo variant is priced at 1.854 million Thai baht (Rs. 41.75 lakh). It has a 2.0-litre EcoBlue engine that produces 210 PS at 3,750 rpm and 500 Nm between 1,750 and 2,000 rpm. It is mated to a ten-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels.
The 2.0-litre turbocharged Panther Si engine in the Endeavour Sport variants produces 170 PS at 3,500 rpm and 405 Nm of peak torque at 2,250 rpm. It’s mated to a six-speed torque-converter automatic transmission that uses a Select Shift system to send power only to the rear wheels. It has a plethora of eye-catching aesthetic enhancements. The 2022 Ford Endeavour is available in Thailand with a vibrant colour scheme that comes in seven different shades.
It has matrix LED headlamps, a panoramic moonroof, a 12-inch touchscreen, ambient lighting, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, lane-keeping assist, TPMS, C-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights, LED fog lamps, automatic headlamps, a 360-degree camera, lane departure warning, active park assist, blind-spot detection, and forward collision warning. In terms of its India launch, it is unclear whether the new-generation Ford Endeavour will arrive on our shores in the near future.
