Nissan has extended its long-standing sponsorship agreement with the International Cricket Council (ICC) for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, marking the eighth year in a row. The official vehicle for this ICC competition, which is set to take place in India from October 5 to November 19, 2023, is the Nissan Magnite. In honour of their partnership with this World Cup, Nissan has unveiled the exclusive “Kuro” version of the Magnite.
Nissan will display the Magnite, its official vehicle, at the stadium to promote the competition. The automaker will also advertise events such as a 3D trophy trip around many Indian cities. The trophy will be available for everyone who loves cricket to take 360-degree pictures of. During the trophy tour, the Magnite’s special version will also be on display, and by snapping photographs with the Magnite, patrons will have the opportunity to win match tickets.
A 7-inch digital instrument cluster, auto air conditioning with rear vents, wireless phone charging, air purification, JBL speakers, ambient lighting, puddle lamps, and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are just a few of the many features that come standard with the Nissan Magnite.
Many standard safety features come standard with the Nissan Magnite, such as the tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill start assist (HSA), traction control system (TCS), and electronic stability programme (ESP). Its safety equipment also includes a 360-degree camera and two front airbags.
A 1-liter normally aspirated engine (72 PS/96 Nm) and a 1-liter turbo-petrol engine (100 PS/up to 160 Nm) are the two powertrain options Nissan offers for the Magnite. Both models come with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard, but the latter has the option of a CVT.The price range for the Nissan Magnite is Rs. 6 lakh to Rs. 11.02 lakh.
