Ola Electric is currently working on new battery technology and they are developing a new electric car also.
The purchase window for Ola Electric’s new S1 electric scooters opened on September 1st, and deliveries to early reservers will begin on September 7th. The Ola S1 starts at $99,000 (ex-showroom); however, this is an introductory price that may change in the future. The S1 is Ola Electric’s second product, following the S1 Pro, which was released last year.
Ola Electric has already sold 70,000 S1 Pro units and received 10,000 S1 bookings. The manufacturer is also working on new products for the future, such as a new battery and an electric car, which they have teased. They intend to build a new gigafactory to produce battery cells. Ola Electric has also collaborated with StoreDot, an Israeli company that pioneered extreme fast charging. Their cells can go from 0% to 100% in five minutes.
