The Cullinan Series II has been formally introduced by Rolls-Royce in India, subsequent to its worldwide premiere in May 2024. The Black Badge Cullinan, ex-showroom, is priced at Rs 12.25 crore (without extras) while the regular SUV is priced at Rs 10.50 crore. To keep it current, the opulent SUV receives numerous inside upgrades in addition to a few minor stylistic adjustments over its predecessor. The first deliveries are scheduled for late 2024.
This is the first significant update for the Cullinan that Rolls-Royce has released. New LED daytime running lights (DRLs) are featured on the fascia, along with reworked headlights and the first-ever illumination of the Cullinan’s Pantheon grille. The side sills are adorned with more gloss black components, and the front bumper has redesigned air intakes for a refreshed appearance.
The Cullinan now has 23-inch wheels with a unique 7-spoke wheel design that is visible in profile. From the taillights to the center of the floating “RR” emblem on the rear wheel caps, a new “feature line” is added. The SUV’s back has brushed stainless steel skid plate and mirror-finish stainless steel exhaust outlets for a contemporary look.
Regarding the inside, the Cullinan Series II features a full-length glass dashboard panel that displays Rolls-Royce’s “Spirit” operating system, which was initially seen in the Spectre model. An lighted panel with 7,000 laser-etched perforations at slightly varied angles welcomes the front passenger. A revised dual-screen configuration for the infotainment system and digital instrument display is also included to the Series II.
Under the hood, the 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine from the Cullinan Series II remains. The engine in the Black Badge version produces close to 600 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque.
The licensed Rolls-Royce dealerships in Delhi and Chennai will sell the Cullinan Series II.
The revised Cullinan is Rs 3.55 crore more expensive than the previous model, which was priced at Rs 6.95 crore (ex-showroom). The Black Badge is even more pricey, costing Rs 4.05 crore more than its predecessor, which was priced at Rs 8.20 crore (ex-showroom).
