Specification of Citroen E-C3 – Details Disclosed Before Launch

Citroen India has disclosed the specifications and variation information of the forthcoming E-C3 electric hatchback ahead of its introduction, which might happen in the coming weeks. Earlier last week, the automaker announced a collaboration with Jio-BP to develop EV charging infrastructure.

The Citroen E-C3 will be powered by a 29.2kWh battery pack that produces 56bhp and 143Nm of torque. On a single charge, the model offers an MIDC-certified range of 320km. The E-C3 has a 0-60kmph time of 6.8 seconds and a peak speed of 107kmph. The 3.3kW charger charges the battery from 10% to 100% in 10.5 hours, while a DC fast charger charges it from 10% to 80% in 57 minutes.

Citroen’s E-C3 electric hatchback has dimensions of 3,981mm in length, 1,733mm in width, and 1,604mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,540mm. The battery is warrantied for seven years or 1.40 lakh kilometres, the motor for five years or one lakh kilometres, and the vehicle for three years or 1.25 lakh kilometres (whichever is earlier for each vertical).

With the E-C3, Citroen will provide two drive modes: Standard and Eco. The product will be offered in two versions: Live and Feel. Customers will have the option of four mono-tone and nine dual-tone colours.
