For quite some time, Royal Enfield has been testing a 650cc Scrambler variant. The impending Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 has been observed on numerous occasions, but a new batch of spy photographs has recently been posted online, hinting the bike could be nearing an official introduction shortly.
The latest spy photos of the Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 show it without any camouflage and appears to be near-production-ready. The Scrambler 650 will be based on the current Interceptor 650 model, with a few modifications. This incorporates 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels wrapped in block-pattern tyres, upside-down front forks, and a single-sided exhaust.
Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 Features:
To name a few features, the forthcoming Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 will have complete LED lighting, a ribbed-pattern seat, an offset single-pod instrument console, and higher handlebars. The bike could also have greater suspension travel than the Interceptor 650, making it more off-road friendly.
The new Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 will likely have the same engine as the Interceptor. This is a 649cc parallel-twin air/oil-cooled engine mated to a 6-speed transmission. The new Scrambler 650 is expected to be released in mid-2024 by Royal Enfield.
